Just a few years ago the Los Angeles Lakers won their 17th NBA Finals and were the best team in the league.
Last season, they couldn’t even compete in the play-in tournament.
The team has undergone quite the fall from grace over the last few years and it’s been made all the worse by numerous injuries to Anthony Davis.
Davis hasn’t played more than 50 games in a season since the 2020 championship but he swears that won’t be the case in 2022-23.
The Lakers brass is reportedly growing concerned as Anthony Davis "didn't look like the franchise player" they expected to have since the 2020 Bubble title.https://t.co/9colSL0klP

All of his injuries and his lack of power on the court have led the team to worry about Davis, according to inside reporting.
Apparently, the team’s front office is “growing concerned” since Davis hasn’t looked like the franchise player that he was back in 2020.
They are not alone in their worries – many fans are also terrified that Davis’ best days are behind him.
Will he be able to redeem himself and prove everyone wrong in the new season?
The Brow Bouncing Back
Throughout the summer, Davis said that he is going to have his best season in years and was healthy, fit, and ready to play for more than 80 games.
That was a welcome sentiment from the big man – but it’s all been said before.
However, Davis has in fact looked stellar during the preseason and was playing with a sort of fire and power that hasn’t been seen in some time.
So, perhaps he really is putting his money where his mouth is.
Still, the worry is that an unforeseen injury will strike at the worst moment and sideline Davis yet again.
Davis knows he has a lot on the line in 2022-23 and there is much to prove.
He is hoping to not only stay healthy but play great as well.
