Even without both LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to win their last game.
But just because they were able to do that doesn’t mean they want to be without them for an extended amount of time.
While Davis should be back and playing with the Lakers soon, the future for James is very murky right now.

The latest reporting from ESPN says that the Lakers are actually preparing for the possibility of making a postseason run without James.
Recently, the Lakers said that James will be re-evaluated in three weeks after being diagnosed with a right foot tendon injury.
If he is out for three weeks, that means he will miss ten games with his team.
That’s going to hurt them an awful lot as James is still one of the most dominant scorers on the team and his impact cannot be rivaled.
The hope is that he is able to come back shortly after that three-week period but it could be much longer than that.
The Lakers are currently the 11th team in the West with a 30-33 record, which means they have to fight to even make the play-in games.
Will they be able to do that without James?
The Lakers have shown moments of greatness without James but are they really qualified to play deep into the postseason?
