The New York Knicks are in a bad way and fans are demanding that something change.
Following a disappointing loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night, the Knicks are now 6-7 and look shockingly inconsistent.
The Knicks were supposed to defeat the Thunder with ease but instead, they ended the evening with a win-loss record that matches theirs.
The Knicks lost to the OKC Thunder because of the team's disengagement on the defensive end despite being under a defensive-minded coach. The Thunder are in the midst of rebuilding their roster.
It's time the Knicks address the Tom Thibodeau issue.

NBA writer Jake Brown wasn’t happy with what he saw – and he echoed the sentiment of many Knicks fans:
“The Knicks lost to the OKC Thunder because of the team’s disengagement on the defensive end despite being under a defensive-minded coach. The Thunder are in the midst of rebuilding their roster.”
Brown then made one last note that is being spoken among many Knicks followers: “It’s time the Knicks address the Tom Thibodeau issue.”
The Thibodeau Troubles
This is the third season that Thibodeau has coached the Knicks and the results have been decidedly mixed.
In 2020-21, their record was 41-31 and they were able to make the playoffs with ease.
However, they were 37-45 last season and now they’re starting with a 6-7 record this year.
The front office has made a few roster adjustments, including adding new point guard Jalen Brunson, yet the struggles continue.
Will there come a point when the Knicks decide that Thibodeau is the problem?
That time might be soon and some fans feel it can’t come soon enough.
If he gets relieved of duty, Thibodeau’s firing might not be the only change coming to the team – there are some players who may be traded away too, perhaps even Julius Randle.
There were high hopes for the Knicks at the start of this season but it’s clear that more adjustments must be made – perhaps even really big ones.
