The New York Knicks have given fans something to be happy about for most of the season.
They are doing better than they were last season and are currently the 7th seed in the East with a 25-21 record.
It’s not often that people are excited about their teams being in 7th place but that is an obvious improvement over last year so Knicks followers will gladly take it.
Knicks are entering a crucial part of the season, as their strength of schedule is beginning to get harder.
The Knicks were 22-21 last year, but then entered a difficult part of the schedule went 3-17 over their next 20 games to end up at 25-38.

However, the next few weeks will be pivotal and could send the team in either a very good or very bad direction.
As pointed out by KnicksMuse on Twitter, the upcoming schedule for New York is going to get harder and that could spell disaster.
At this point last season, the Knicks were 22-21 and they then hit a rough patch where they went 3-17 over the next 20 games.
That resulted in them being 25-38 and ultimately 37-45 in 11th place when the season concluded.
Fans are very nervous that a similar fate could be waiting for the Knicks and they could fall apart when they need to step up.
Their upcoming opponents include the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, and more.
And this comes after a pair of tough losses, one to the Washington Wizards and the other to the Toronto Raptors in overtime.
While there are fears that a repeat of last season could be looming, there are reasons to be optimistic too.
Julius Randle is looking much better than he was last year, for example.
Meanwhile, the team has been savoring every season of their new star Jalen Brunson, who is averaging 22.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.
With a stronger roster and a great new star, the Knicks should be able to stay strong as their schedule heats up.
But they have let their fans down before so the nerves will remain among the Knicks faithful.
