Things just aren’t working out between the New York Knicks and Cam Reddish.
Reddish hasn’t been with the team for long but it’s clear that head coach Tom Thibodeau isn’t really comfortable with Reddish being a huge part of the rotation.
The player has been hardly scoring at all during his last few games and was actually benched entirely by Thibodeau the other night, showing just how fractured the relationship is.

Therefore, it’s not a surprise to hear that the Knicks and Reddish’s representatives are working towards a trade for the small forward.
Fans of the team have seen this move coming for some time and they’re not super happy about it.
It’s not that they don’t want to lose Reddish, it’s that they are tired of seeing the front office regularly contradict itself and take one step forward and two back.
Reddish On The Move
With a troubled 11-13 record, you can be sure that Reddish might not be the only trade committed by the team in the near future.
Inside reporting also suggests that Derrick Rose might be packaged in a deal soon too.
The problem is that there isn’t a high demand for either player, so the Knicks will likely take a loss in any deal that they agree to for Reddish and Rose.
This isn’t the first time that Thibodeau has decided to bench a player who was falling short of expectations.
Just last season, the same thing happened to Kemba Walker, who was later traded away and has finally found a new home with the Dallas Mavericks.
Will Reddish and Rose be able to find a new team that they can flourish with?
