The New York Jets have seemingly turned things around.
They are not the same laughingstock anymore, as proven by their 4-2 record through Week 6.
Zach Wilson‘s return from injury helped ignite this long-suffering franchise.
But they are not just getting victories every time they can.
Instead, they are doing so by dominating the fourth quarter.

FOX Sports NFL tweeted, “The @nyjets are dominating the 4th quarter through six weeks.”
They also shared a graphic featuring the six teams with the best point differential in the fourth quarter.
The Jets top the list at +48, while the Indianapolis Colts are second at +36.
The Arizona Cardinals are third at +33, while the Cincinnati Bengals are fourth at +28.
The New York Giants (+26) and the Minnesota Vikings (+24) close the list.
In their four wins, the Jets outscored the Cleveland Browns in the fourth quarter, 17-13.
They had a 14-7 advantage against the Pittsburgh Steelers and a 21-0 advantage against the Miami Dolphins.
The Jets completed another fourth-quarter sweep with a 10-0 scoreline against the Green Bay Packers.
Their fourth-quarter dominance helped them become one of the top ten teams on offense, averaging 23.8 points per game.
Likewise, their defense is helping the squad maintain their leads.
The Jets rank ninth in total yards, giving up 313.2 yards per game.
Preventing opponents from executing their plays helps them reduce the score, especially in the fourth quarter.
Can The Jets Capitalize Before Their Bye?
The Jets will have their bye in Week 10, giving them three playing days before the break.
However, it may be a tough stretch because they will face the Denver Broncos in Week 7.
Next to that game is their showdown with the New England Patriots in Week 8.
A week later, they will get the Buffalo Bills.
