The New York Jets might not be in the playoffs, but they have something they can be proud of from this season.
Despite an epic collapse from them, the Jets have a promising future.
The team has a draft class like no other from the 2022 NFL Draft.
Their draft picks are good enough to become finalists for the Rookie of the Year award.
Both Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner are finalists for their respective Rookie of the Year awards.

While some NFL fans wonder why these players make the cut, their performance this season speaks volumes.
Wilson, who was working with a horrible quarterback group this season, broke 1,000 receiving yards while scoring four touchdowns.
His 1,103 receiving yards and 83 receptions were both more than his rookie counterpart, Chris Olave, got this season.
Even with a better quarterback, Olave doesn’t bypass Wilson and his performance from this season.
While the young receiver was impressive, Gardner is the shining star of the Jets defense.
He was a lockdown corner for this season and a ball hawk on defense.
His 75 combined tackles and two interceptions put him in the spotlight.
While he’s an amazing rookie, he also blew all other corners out of the water this season.
His -28.8 target EPA during the season made him the second-best corner in the NFL.
With him dominating all other corners, he proves why he deserves the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
Both Wilson and Gardner show why the Jets were on the cusp of being playoff contenders this season.
