The Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to keep their major offseason acquisitions after roster cutdown day.
Therefore, Christian Kirk and Zay Jones will still be two of their projected starters at wide receiver.
There’s also tight end Evan Engram and right guard Brandon Scherff.
They also added Folorunso Fatukasi, Foyesade Oluokun, and Darious Williams on defense.
But if the Jaguars feel that they can use more talent, they are in a good position to add some players through the waiver wire.
The NFL's waiver priority today mirrors the original 2022 NFL Draft order. The top 10:
1. Jaguars
2. Lions
3. Texans
4. Jets
5. Giants
6. Panthers
7. Bears
8. Falcons
9. Broncos
10. SeahawksA useful way to add some young talent today.

ESPN’s Field Yates shared the league’s waiver priority order which mirrors the 2022 NFL Draft’s first-round order.
Since the Jaguars took Travon Walker with the top overall selection, they will also have the first chance to pick players off the waiver wire.
Depending on players that could be claimed off waivers, they may or may not use this advantage.
However, they might find some prospects in there that can turn into viable starters or rotation players in the future.
After the Jaguars are the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, New York Jets, and New York Giants, in that order.
The Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, and Seattle Seahawks complete the top ten.
Can The Jaguars Turn Things Around?
Jacksonville hopes that the players they claim off waivers could help them deliver more victories in 2022.
However, things are not looking bright after they lost all four preseason games.
But as they start the games that matter, they still have a chance to bounce back and reverse their depressing trend.
Since they last made the playoffs in 2017, they haven’t had a winning season and won just one game in 2020.
The Jaguars hope that they have pulled off the right moves to finally compete.
