While it’s clear that this season isn’t going as well as the Miami Heat wanted, they aren’t willing to make many changes.
The team is 7th in the East right now, with a 20-18 record.
Remember, they ended last season with the greatest record in their conference so they are not even close to where they were at this point a year ago.
But they believe in the players they have right now, some more than others.

Big man Bam Adebayo has become one of the most important parts of their lineup.
He is so important in fact that the team is shutting down any and all requests from other teams regarding a possible trade for him, according to NBA writer Sean Deveney.
Adebayo has been getting better and better over the last few seasons and it’s smart of the Heat to hold him near and dear to them.
As he continues to prosper, more teams throughout the association will take a swing at trading for him.
How long will the Heat hold onto him?
He is currently putting up 21.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists a game and is in the running for his first Defensive Player of the Year award.
If the Heat end up turning their season around and making it deep into the playoffs, it’ll be partly because of Adebayo.
But what happens if the team doesn’t turn it around?
Adebayo would surely garner a huge return if he was traded away, and the Heat could definitely get an All-Star in his place.
The Heat want to win with the team they have now, including Adebayo.
But if things continue to falter, you can bet they will think twice about not letting him go.
