A couple of months ago, a woman named Donna Kelce was one of the most frequently mentioned names in sports.
She gave birth to two players facing each other in the Super Bowl: Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Travis and the Chiefs ended up on the winning side in a hotly contested game in which they trailed for much of the first half and part of the second.
Now, the Cleveland Guardians are about to welcome both for the home opener at Progressive Field.
“Just a momma and her son. Cleveland native and 2022 Super Bowl champion, @tkelce, and his mother, Donna, will toss the Ceremonial First Pitch at the Home Opener on Friday!” the Guardians’ Twitter account wrote.

Kelce was born 33 years ago in Westlake, Ohio.
Westlake is a suburb of Cleveland, located 12 miles west of downtown Cleveland.
The Guardians, who are off to a nice 4-1 start in 2023, are welcoming a local hero and his mother.
After taking a 92-70 record to the postseason and winning the Wild Card Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Guards took the Yankees to the maximum of five games in the Division Series.
Kelce, on the other hand, has become one of the best tight ends in the NFL.
He won his second Super Bowl trophy this year and has made eight Pro Bowls.
It will be a really cool moment on Friday.
The crowd will surely welcome them with joy and applause.
