The hits just keep on coming for the Memphis Grizzlies.
They are in the midst of a very good season, in which they are currently the second seed in the Western Conference.
But, Saturday has been a major setback for the organization.
It started in yesterday’s game when forward Bradon Clarke suffered a serious leg injury.
That injury has been confirmed as a torn Achilles tendon.
He will miss the rest of the season.
But, things keep getting worse for the Grizzlies.
Star point guard Ja Morant has been suspended for at least two games by the team.
He was reportedly seen holding a gun on his Instagram live.
Further investigation is expected to be done by the NBA.
But, Morant was not the only player suspended.
According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, forward Dillon Brooks has also been suspended one game for receiving his 16th technical foul.
Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks has been suspended for Sunday’s game vs. Clippers after picking up his 16th technical foul of the season.

The NBA has a rule where once a player receives their 16th technical they are suspended the next game.
So Memphis will be without Clarke, Morant, and Brooks for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
No one could have seen this avalanche of bad news coming.
But, it certainly hinders the Grizzlies for the foreseeable future.
No one knows how long Morant will be out after he serves the two games, plus losing Clarke for the season is a big blow.
Keep an eye on how this team responds to all the adversity.
It should surprise no one if we see them start to free-fall down the standings.
