So far this season, multiple NBA teams have had extensive winning streaks – and now it’s the Memphis Grizzlies‘ turn.
The team went into their competition against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday with just one thing on their mind: winning and extending their latest streak of victories.
Sure enough, that is exactly what they did.

The Grizzlies walked away with a 135-129 score and their 8th straight win.
That is currently their season-best streak and the greatest in the NBA right now.
Even though the Grizzlies didn’t get off to a great start on Wednesday, they turned it around and were able to pick things up and get it together.
This was mostly thanks to the hard work of Ja Morant, who was once again playing at superstar status.
In the end, he put up 38 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 56% from the floor and 60% from the three-point line.
Meanwhile, Jaren Jackson Jr continued his impressive season with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Morant and Desmond Bane were looking wonderful together, proving that they are one of the better backcourts in the West.
Bane was good for 4-of-5 three-pointers and looked fired up and refreshed and completely in synch with Morant.
The Grizzlies are currently tied with the Denver Nuggets for first place in the West with a 28-13 record.
These two crews are neck-and-neck and consistently trying to claim supremacy.
In the days ahead, the Grizzlies will try to keep up the energy and rise above the Nuggets.
They have a few days off and will pick things back up on Saturday when they play against the Indiana Pacers, with the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Los Angeles Lakers waiting for them after that.
