It was revealed that the team will have a franchise-record 18 national television games across ABC, ESPN, and TNT in the new season.
It’ll all start with their season-opener against the New York Knicks on October 19.
With so much exposure planned, it is obvious that the Grizzlies have arrived in a very big way.
Will the upcoming season be even better than the last one?
Grizzlies Doing Great
The team’s previous record speaks for itself.
Their win total would be enough to make them worthy of so many national TV games.
But there is something else about the Grizzlies that makes them special: they are very fun to watch.
Led by Ja Morant, this is an explosive, young team that plays some wildly exciting and addictive basketball.
Throughout the previous season, Morant and his guys were taking incredible shots, making wonderful blocks, and playing with spirit and attitude and enthusiasm.
You can expect plenty more of that in the season ahead.
The Grizzlies had a breakout season last year but they are intent on building upon that and becoming even better.
There is a lot of speculation that Morant could grow as a player and might be in contention for the MVP trophy alongside some of the biggest names in the game.
Those who don’t know about the Grizzlies are about to learn.
