The NFL is reaching the last week of the regular season next Sunday.
However, all eyes are on the seventh seed in the NFC, as three teams fight for the last playoff spot.
Two of the teams in this fight for the seventh seed were thought to be out of the playoff race back in week nine.
But these teams are showing fight, as they want to reach the playoffs.
So which teams are fighting for the last spot, and how can they get there?
Seahawks, Lions, And Packers Fight For Last Playoff Spot
The seventh seed can only go to the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, or Green Bay Packers.
While the Seahawks are currently the seventh seed, it’s the Packers with the best chance of making the playoffs.
The reason behind this is that they are the only team with a “win and in” scenario in week 18.
The final Wild Card spot in the NFC will come down to the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions:

For the Seahawks and Lions, they both need help to reach the NFL playoffs this season.
The Lions need a win and a Seahawks loss to get in.
But for the Seahawks, they need the Packers to lose and win against the Los Angeles Rams.
However, it’s the ninth-place Packers who control their own destiny during week 18.
They only need to win against the Lions to leapfrog everyone else.
The reason for this is the Packers conference record after they win against the Lions.
It would give them the edge over the Seahawks, who already hold a victory over the Lions.
With one game left, Aaron Rodgers now controls his destiny as he attempts to reach the playoffs one more time.
