By now, nearly every baseball fan is in a position to concede and acknowledge that the Los Angeles Dodgers are the best team in baseball.
Besides skill, a bit of luck is required to win in the postseason, so it’s not a lock that the Dodgers will win the World Series.
They should, however, be considered the heavy favorites.
With their most recent win, they achieved another cool feat.
“With a win over the Padres, the Dodgers have clinched their 10th straight postseason berth, the 3rd-longest streak in MLB history. Only the Braves (1991-05) and Yankees (1995-07) have made more consecutive playoff appearances,” ESPN Stats & Info tweeted.

Making the playoffs ten years in a row is really something to behold.
There are teams that don’t make it even once in a decade.
Baseball is extremely competitive these days, yet the Dodgers remain a tier above everyone else.
The Dodgers Are MLB’s Premier Organization
Years ago, they decided to invest important resources all around the organization, not just on the roster.
They overhauled their analytics department, scouting is top-notch, and player development and coaching are excellent too.
Most importantly, all departments feed off each other: there is excellent communication in the organization.
Additionally, the Dodgers won’t hesitate to spend if they love a free agent or have an extension candidate.
It’s definitely not by accident that they made the postseason with about three weeks left to play.
They have 96 wins already; and the closest team has 90.
The Dodgers are a powerful force and are prepared to go to the playoffs with the intention of winning their second World Series ring in three years.
They have the goods to do so.
