The Denver Nuggets have been missing Jamal Murray ever since he left the league due to a serious injury and a long rehabilitation.
Although the team still had the NBA’s two-time back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic, they weren’t nearly as competitive as they could have been with Murray and his sharpshooting skills on board.
The fans and players were patient and waited it out and now Murray is ready to return to his team.

And they are ready to welcome him in the silliest, funniest way possible.
Murray was sitting on the bench the other night during a preseason game, where he received a pair of “wet willies” from his playful teammates.
Murray went along with the playfulness but definitely looked over it after the second one.
Even with the laughable, annoying razing from his teammates, Murray is obviously excited to get back into the game.
And his inclusion with the Nuggets could make all the difference in the West.
Murray Is Back
If the Nuggets were decent with only Jokic leading them, imagine how they will be in the new season with Murray back.
Before his ACL injury, Murry was averaging 21.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists a game.
The Canadian guard was becoming one of the best in the league and was creating a special relationship with Jokic.
The Nuggets were placed on hold when Murray exited after his injury.
They knew they wouldn’t be able to reach the Finals with only Jokic in the driver’s seat but they also knew they would immediately be back in playoff form when Murray came back.
Because of this, expectations are higher than ever for Denver in the new season.
