Before the 2022 NFL season started, the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos were considered serious contenders for a spot in the AFC playoffs.
The Colts added quarterback Matt Ryan after trading Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders.
The former league MVP is seen as a savior for a passing offense with targets like Mo Alie-Cox and Michael Pittman Jr.
Wilson is seen to be the same type of player for the Broncos, a team that had an imposing receiving corps with Tim Patrick, Jerry Jeudy, and Courtland Sutton.
Meanwhile, both teams have solid run games, starting with the Colts’ Jonathan Taylor.
In his second year with Indianapolis, the former Wisconsin standout led the league in carries (332), rushing yards (1,811), and touchdowns (18).
On the other hand, the Broncos had the backfield tandem of Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon III.
Unfortunately, things haven’t gone their way, especially in putting points on the board.

Meanwhile, the Broncos scored 27 total points in their two victories.
The Broncos are 30th in the league in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per game.
On the other hand, the Colts are dead last at 14.3 points per game.
