The clock is ticking for all teams in the NBA, including the Los Angeles Clippers.
Thursday marks the NBA trade deadline, which means that multiple franchises are currently making phone calls and putting together deals in hopes of landing new stars and improving postseason chances.
The Clippers have all eyes on them because there is speculation that they could do something very big in the next couple of days.
Christian Wood and D'Angelo Russell are among the LA Clippers’ PRIME trade targets heading into the last few days of NBA trade season, per @TheSteinLine.

NBA insider Marc Stein is reporting that the Clippers have their eyes on both Christian Wood of the Dallas Mavericks and D’Angelo Russell of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
These players are both considered “prime” targets for the Clippers.
They are wildly different players but both would help in many ways.
Wood is having a sensational first season with the Mavericks, averaging 18.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on 53.5% from the field.
He came to the team as a bench player but has now become an important part of its starting five.
But over the last few weeks, we have heard that Dallas would be willing to part with Wood for the right offer.
Wood is a big man who is able to defend well and shoot expertly too.
As for Russell, he is an acclaimed guard who is putting up 18.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 6.2 assists a game for his Timberwolves.
It seems all but assured that he will be leaving Minnesota sooner rather than later and rumors about his departure have swirled all year.
Wood would help LA’s frontcourt while Russell would improve the backcourt.
That means that the Clippers have a choice to make about which direction they want to go in.
Will the Clippers be able to get one or even both of these prime targets before Thursday?
