Now that we are several months into the NBA season, everyone can admit that the Los Angeles Clippers aren’t playing as fans expected.
The team, currently 6th in the West, is 23-22 and has yet to live up to the hype.
In the summer, many people thought that this could be the year that the Clippers have a strong playoff run and possibly win the NBA Finals.
With help from Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, John Wall, and others, that concept didn’t seem far-fetched.

Now that this hasn’t panned out, the Clippers are apparently weighing their options as the trade deadline approaches.
Shams Charania is reporting that the Clippers are open to the idea of trading away Wall just months after he came to the team.
This would be a shocking move from the team, as Wall has only played 34 games with his new squad.
During that time, he has averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists on 40.8% from the floor.
But Wall, like other Clippers players, has also suffered from injuries too – he is currently out for at least two weeks with an abdominal strain.
Wall has helped the team and has shown some moments of greatness but he isn’t enough to get them to the next level.
If Wall goes, you can expect other players to depart too.
The Clippers might pony up quite a few trade assets for a reliable, healthy All-Star.
The team is built around Leonard and George, of course, and they will need reinforcements for the rest of the season.
Make no mistake, if the Clippers make trades they will do so to improve their roster as soon as possible and make them title contenders right now.
If this season doesn’t result in some sort of big victory, Wall might not be the only one leaving the team.
