Just as the Los Angeles Clippers got some good news about the return of Paul George, they also got a less-than-stellar update about another star.
During the team’s recent loss to the Denver Nuggets, John Wall suffered an abdominal injury.
The injury came right after Wall created an explosive dunk in the fourth quarter that went viral online.
Clippers say that John Wall (abdominal) will be evaluated in 2 weeks.

We are now hearing that Wall will be evaluated in two weeks and until then, the Clippers will be without him.
So far this season, his first with the LA team, Wall has averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.
While his point totals are less than what he did during his last season with the Houston Rockets, his percentages have stayed pretty even since then, proving that he is still a powerful player at times.
When he was brought to the Clippers in the summer, the plan was for Wall to become the third part of LA’s new big three alongside Kawhi Leonard and George.
However, these three talents haven’t been able to spend a lot of time on the floor together due to injuries they have failed to shake off.
Wall has become comfortable as a bench player for the first time in his career, having started in only three games so far.
Now that Wall is going to sit out, Ty Lue said that he will rely on Reggie Jackson to become the team’s new backup guard.
The Clippers have had a slew of disappointing starts and stops this season, not only with Wall, Leonard, and George but other guys who have either been hurt or couldn’t find their rhythm.
As for George, he is nearing his return and is now listed as day-to-day.
