The Clippers have lost six straight games against the Nuggets and nine of their last ten matches versus them, according to NBA writer Tomer Azarly.
Therefore, the fact that they were taken down again on Sunday night isn’t a shock.
Why have the Clippers been having such a hard time against the Nuggets lately?
Partly because everyone has been.
The Nuggets are now the best team in the West with a strong 43-19 record and a 5.5-game lead against the second-place Memphis Grizzlies.
This has been a long time coming for the Nuggets, who have been working toward this point for years.
They are finally performing in the ways fans have wanted for a long time.
It remains to be seen if they are performing well enough to make the NBA Finals but they are certainly dominating their conference.
Over the last few years, the Nuggets have been compiling some important and impressive wins against some of the most well-known teams in the league, including the Clippers.
The Clippers have always had a tough time with the team and especially their best player, Nikola Jokic.
LA is having a stronger season than normal, currently the fifth team in the West, but they still can’t seem to overcome what Denver consistently brings.
