The Los Angeles Clippers have lost their last 3 games and are 6th in the West with a 21-18 record.
That leaves them poised in the middle of the pack in their conference, which isn’t great but not as bad as it could be.
They would surely be in much better shape if their two most important players were consistently playing games but injuries and illness have prevented this.
Kawhi Leonard, who has only played in 16 games, is currently battling a non-COVID illness and Paul George tweaked his hamstring in a recent game.

George was seen on the Clippers’ practice court, moving with ease and looking pretty good.
However, head coach Ty Lue said he’s not sure how much George or Leonard will do at practice and they are both listed as questionable for the team’s next game Thursday against the Denver Nuggets.
Additionally, there is a chance that George and Leonard will only play in select games moving forward, even if they are both playing and feeling better.
This has been a pattern for the Clippers all season: they have let Leonard rest a lot and have not pushed hard to have him back full-time.
Fans of the team are incredibly frustrated with just about everything they have seen this season.
This was supposed to be the year that the team went further than ever before but things haven’t panned out as planned.
Leonard’s recovery has been much longer than anticipated with Lue and his staff giving him a lot of time to slowly get back into the swing of things.
George has also been inconsistent because of injuries.
As the season goes on, followers of the team will grow less and less patient about the lack of these two stars.
