The Los Angeles Clippers have stayed very quiet as the NBA trade deadline approached but they might be making a big move before Thursday is done.
Right now, the Clippers are the sixth-best team in the West.
Their 31-27 record isn’t awful but people were expecting much more from the squad in the 2022-23 season.
That means some things need to be changed.

Marc Stein is reporting that the Clippers are expected to trade or buy out John Wall before the deadline comes.
A few months ago, the thought of Wall leaving the Clippers would have dropped jaws.
He was seen as the future of the team and an essential part of the big three they were building.
But now Wall departing isn’t much of a shock at all.
He has averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists a game for the Clippers.
However, the injuries have been adding up for Wall and he hasn’t played a game for LA since the middle of January.
The Clippers are weighing their options right now in order to give Kawhi Leonard and Paul George more help.
The front office has to greatly improve the roster quickly if they want a chance at making it far in the playoffs, especially now that Kevin Durant is playing in the Western Conference.
If the Clippers don’t have a powerful postseason presence, you can bet Wall won’t be the only player departing.
The entire team could be totally dismantled and rebuilt in the offseason if things don’t work out this time.
Wall is now 32 years old and has encountered frequent injuries but he could still find a new home in the league.
If the Clippers say goodbye to him, his career may continue.
