The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to run it back next season.
It has been long since we have seen a team win back-to-back Super Bowls.
Yet, the Chiefs will do their best to try and accomplish it.
If Andy Reid is the head coach and Patrick Mahomes is at quarterback, the Chiefs will be one of the favorites.
But football is a team game, and many players must play their roles to succeed.
One player that played a key role on the Chiefs last year was running back Jerick McKinnon.
He was a star out of the backfield and was their primary pass-catching running back.
According to the Chiefs, they have officially re-signed McKinnon.

Last season, he reeled in 56 passes, for 512 yards and nine touchdowns.
From 2014-2021, McKinnon had seven receiving touchdowns.
He surpassed his career total just last season in KC.
The Chiefs will now head into next season with Isiah Pacheco and McKinnon as their two top running backs.
Those two should be plenty good for a pass-first offense like the Chiefs.
McKinnon has never had more than 570 rushing yards in a season.
But that is because his main skill set is catching the ball.
Having multiple effective running backs that can play off each other is key to a successful offense.
It appears that the Chiefs will have that in 2023.
