With their victory last night, the Kansas City Chiefs took home their second Super Bowl in the last four seasons.
This was their third appearance in the big game in the last five seasons, which, coincidentally, are the five seasons that Patrick Mahomes has been their starter.
The Chiefs look to contend for the Lombardi for as long as Mahomes is their quarterback.
He and the Chiefs continue to make their mark in history with their unbelievable success story.

The Chiefs are the only team besides the New England Patriots to win multiple Super Bowls in the past 15 years.
The Patriots, of course, were led by Tom Brady.
Many have dubbed Mahomes as the new-age version of Brady, especially given the amount of talent that he possesses, and the winning nature he has brought to the Chiefs.
Can the Chiefs officially be dubbed as a dynasty?
Many are calling them that, especially with Mahomes at the helm.
They are oddly reminiscent of Brady and the Patriots, tearing through the AFC, and winning their division for the past seven seasons.
Under Mahomes, the Chiefs have yet to end a season with fewer than 12 wins, a streak that is bound to come to an end at some point.
Will 2023 be the year that Mahomes and the Chiefs have a down season?
That certainly remains to be seen, as we now have a long wait until next season.
For now, Mahomes and his teammates will celebrate their historic accomplishment, with a city-wide parade set to happen on Wednesday of this week.
