The Boston Celtics are starting their 2022-23 NBA season on Tuesday night, battling against the Milwaukee Bucks.
That’s quite the way to start the new year and it’ll pose a few challenges for the Celtics.
There is a good chance that they will be sweating it out and feeling the heat from the Bucks.
At least they will look great doing it.
The Celtics officially unveil their “City Edition” uniforms for this season. The uniforms honor the late Celtics legend Bill Russell.

The team revealed their new “City Edition” uniforms for the upcoming season.
Crafted in dark green with gold trim and vintage font, the jerseys feel like a throwback but also very modern.
Seeing new Boston icons like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown wearing these is like taking a look at the past mixed with the future.
The jerseys are a homage to Celtics legend Bill Russell and will be worn multiple times throughout the season.
Will these new outfits help the Celtics get a win on opening night?

Obviously, jerseys don’t mean too much in the grand scheme of things – they do not impact a team’s chances of winning or losing.
But fans love to see their teams looking fresh in new outfits.
The Celtics will surely have a lot of eyes on them this season, from opening night and beyond.
The team made the NBA Finals last season but was taken down by Stephen Curry and his electric Golden State Warriors.
They enter 2022-23 as odds-on favorites to make it far into the postseason and possibly get to the Finals again.
Of course, they will have some tough competition – specifically from their opening night opponents.
The Celtics and the Bucks are the two teams that many people assume will rule the East this season.
