The Celtics May Overtake The Entire East

The Boston Celtics have become the team that fans were hoping for.

Right now, Boston is the fourth team in the East with a record of 44-28.

Currently, the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Philadelphia 76ers are ahead of them.

But the Celtics have been on a tear lately and there is reason to believe that they could keep surging and could possibly even overtake the East.

Boston is 19-3 over their last 22 games, showing that they have really hit a groove and are playing at their best right now.

That matters because the next few weeks will be pivotal in deciding who comes out on top in the Eastern Conference.

It also matters because the rankings are incredibly close right now and it’s not far-fetched to imagine Boston surpassing everyone else.

Neck And Neck

While it’s true that the Celtics are fourth in the East right now, they are still very close to the top of the charts.

The Heat have a record of 47-24.

That means that Boston is just 3.5 games behind them.

With the record of 19-3 over the last 22 games, it’s easy to envision Boston continuing to rack up huge wins and overtaking their competition.

That is especially possible with the way that the team’s stars have been playing.

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have become one of the best duos in the league, posting huge point totals and carrying their team forward.

The rest of the squad has been excellent as well, swapping the sloppy play-style they had early in the season for a fast, efficient and reliable system of assists and stellar defense.

Their road ahead is tough and competition is fierce but no one should count out the Celtics yet.
