The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers met up in LA on Tuesday night and, as expected, everyone was paying attention.
People are glued to any game that features these two teams due to their historic rivalry but this year is different.
The Lakers were obviously the underdogs going into Tuesday’s game.
As for the Celtics, they’re technically the best team in the league.
Therefore, many people thought the Lakers would be down by something like 20-30 points as the game wrapped up.

That wasn’t the case.
With a little more than four minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Lakers were up by 13 points.
But anyone who turned off the game at that point woke up disappointed on Wednesday because the Celtics did their thing, bounced back, and led the game into overtime, where they eventually pulled out a 122-118 victory.
It was a great win for the Celtics but also a good loss for the Lakers.
Celtics Succeed Again
The Celtics once again showed why they are the most dominant team in the league right now.
The entire squad was working in tandem and making life hard on the Lakers.
But some praise needs to be given to LA as well because there were so many people who expected a bigger walloping.
They sat in a big deficit at one point but they were able to claw their way back into the game, something the Lakers were not always known for.
A loss is still painful but the fact that they kept it close against such a great team is encouraging for fans of the Lakers.
The Celtics were able to get a much-needed win and get back on track after a couple of tough losses so they are again looking like true Finals contenders.
