The next couple of months will be very intense ones for the Boston Celtics.
Right now, the team is the top squad in the Eastern Conference.
Actually, they are the top squad in the entire NBA with their dominant 42-17 record.
However, that is just a half-game ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks and only three over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Celtics don’t have a lot of wiggle room and they definitely don’t want to lose their superiority over the rest of the pack.
#NEBHInjuryReport for tomorrow vs. Indiana:
Danilo Gallinari (left knee ACL repair) – OUT
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) February 22, 2023
All season long, they have been suffering from a slew of injuries that have sidelined some of their biggest stars.
Over the last few weeks, athletes like Marcus Smart, Robert Williams, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown, and others have been missing games because of various injuries.
But the latest injury report for the Celtics shows that the only player who will be on the bench Thursday is Danilo Gallinari, who has been out all season due to an ACL injury.
In other words, the Celtics are fully healthy and ready to play.
This is obviously terrific news for the team because they have a pretty tough first week back following the All-Star break.
They are taking on the Indiana Pacers on Thursday and then they will face off against the Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Brooklyn Nets over the next week.
It is important that they add more wins to their track record, especially against Eastern Conference opponents.
If the Celtics continue to play as they have been, they are poised to return to the Finals.
They have been good all year long but the last few months of the season will obviously be what matters most.
