There is no doubt that the Boston Celtics are one of the best teams in the NBA right now.
And there is also no doubt that Jayson Tatum is the team’s best player.
There are plenty of reasons to celebrate Tatum, who is averaging 30.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

But on Friday, fans of the Celtics are celebrating Tatum for another reason: it’s his 25th birthday.
The Celtics took to Twitter to cheer on their MVP candidate on his big day, which immediately received a ton of joyous responses from fans all over the world.
Tatum was born on March 3, 1998 in St. Louis and was in love with basketball at a young age.
He eventually played his way into Duke and was then drafted by the Celtics as the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
The Celtics are the only team he’s ever played for, averaging 22.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists during his career.
He has hit new heights over the last couple of years.
His wonderful 2021-22 season ended with Boston going all the way to the NBA Finals, although they fell short at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.
Believe it or not, Tatum is better and has been playing with stronger stats and better leadership.
Because of that, the Celtics are in a more dominant position than they were last year.
Will it result in a championship ring?
Tatum won’t have much time to celebrate his birthday on Friday because his team is set to battle the Brooklyn Nets at home.
