Everything is coming together for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The team was obviously just part of a mammoth trade when they landed Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz.
Even before they got Mitchell, there was a lot going right for the Cavs.
That included the addition of Ricky Rubio, who played briefly for the team in the 2021-22 season and is now returning to fighting alongside the rest of the squad.

Rubio was welcomed to the gym with the open arms of Jarrett Allen, who was all smiles upon the arrival of his teammate.
These two have good chemistry and that’s important.
Rubio has long said that he’s not expecting to be the most prominent point creator on the team but instead wants to focus on teaching and guiding the group as it becomes better and better.
Ready For Rubio
Rubio has learned a lot during his 11 years in the NBA and he is eager to spread his knowledge to others.
He’s got the best team for that with the Cavaliers.
This team is young and ready to absorb all that Rubio knows, soaking it up like a sponge.
In previous interviews, Rubio has said how much joy he felt when teaching and encouraging young players like Darius Garland.
You can expect plenty more of that in the season ahead.
Rubio, who is now 31, isn’t immune to injuries so his mentor role is even more important because it is something he can do despite any sort of physical restrictions that keep him on the bench.
If the Cavaliers do well this year, it’ll be because they have two things: talent and smarts.
Rubio is looking to help with both of those.
