Earlier this week, Keith Law of The Athletic wrote a piece ranking each MLB team’s farm system from best to worst.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are the ones at the top, but other teams have very enviable farm systems that could make a difference in the years to come.
Another team in the top-10 is the St. Louis Cardinals.
With prospects such as Jordan Walker knocking on the door, the future is bright in St. Louis.
On Twitter, Cardinals insider Katie Woo commented on Law’s list of the top farm systems and the team having a top system as of now.
Oh hey would you look at that…. It’s a top-10 farm system 👀 #STLCards https://t.co/MXXkI6DYls

In addition to Walker, the Cardinals have a lot of young pitchers who appear to be ready to make a difference.
Top pitching prospect Matthew Liberatore has already tasted the Majors and appears to have a lot of upside.
But Tink Hence and Gordon Graceffo are two more pitchers that the Cardinals have to look forward to.
The team also has some young arms at the big-league level who appear ready to take the next step.
Andre Pallante, Jake Woodford, and Zach Thompson all came from the pipeline and contributed heavily to the Cardinals winning their 13th NL Central title.
On the offensive side, stars such as Moises Gomez, Alec Burleson, and Juan Yepez can’t be overlooked.
Nolan Gorman made his first impressions in 2022 and may be prepared for a larger role in 2023.
Though the offseason has been relatively quiet for St. Louis, their farm system is looking good and should help them contend for years to come.
