The Chicago Bulls had a great regular season – to a point.
They started out very strongly and were on their way to a wonderful postseason but then a slew of nasty injuries sidelined some of their biggest stars and the Eastern Conference was eventually able to swallow them up.
It was clear that the team needed a deeper bench and roster in the new season if they hope to make it deep into the playoffs.

Therefore, it wasn’t surprising when the team signed Goran Dragic.
The veteran guard is exactly the sort of player the team needs.
He can take some of the pressure off other scorers and can also spread some expertise, especially by using his postseason experience.
Dragic could provide a huge boost to the Bulls.
The Dragon In The Windy City
Dragic isn’t the showiest, flashiest player in the league but he certainly can be the glue that holds a team together.
At his age (he’s 36 and has been playing for 14 years) he won’t be demanding many minutes.
In the 2021-22 season, Dragic averaged 23.7 minutes during his time with both the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.
Don’t expect to see Dragic starting many games or taking up many minutes from DeMar DeRozan and others on the Bulls’ roster.
But when the team needs someone reliable and hard-working, you may see Dragic come off the bench.
The Bulls have a lot of great players, they just need to stay healthy.
If they can do that and fill in the roster and bench a bit more, they can get quite far in the postseason.
A Finals appearance might not even be out of the picture.
Dragic doesn’t solve all of Chicago’s problems but he will certainly help them out.
