After Tuesday night’s win over the Phoenix Suns, the Milwaukee Bucks became the first team in the NBA to secure their spot in the playoffs.
They have now won 50 games and remain the best team in the East.
But their impressive record in 2022-23 goes well beyond that.
According to StatMuse, the Bucks are the first seed in the NBA, the first team to score 50 wins, the third team in defensive rating, and the fourth in net rating.

So far, this has definitely been the season that the Bucks had promised to fans.
After a year away from the Finals, Milwaukee looks well on its way to going far in the playoffs and perhaps returning to the championship.
The power of the Bucks revolves around Giannis Antetokounmpo and his 31.5 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.
But he’s regularly assisted by talented stars such as Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, Khris Middleton, and others.
Each of these players has suffered injuries over the last season-and-a-half but they have seemingly healed and are ready to play at the best of their abilities when it matters most.
On Tuesday night, Antetokounmpo was good for 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists while Lopez scored his own double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Holiday chipped in with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
Fans of the Bucks are cautiously optimistic about what could come next.
While the team has a very good chance of storming through the postseason, there is fear that they could perhaps be overtaken by the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, or another team in the East.
That’s why it’s so very important that the team doesn’t let its guard down.
