The Cleveland Browns have been one of the worst teams in the NFL for the last 20-plus years.
In fact, in the last 20 years, the Browns have a 106-241-1 record.
This has led to just two playoff appearances in 20 years.

The Browns haven’t won their division since 1989, which is the longest drought in the NFL.
Sitting at 5-8 on this season, that streak will continue for at least one more season.
After trading for former MVP candidate Deshaun Watson in the 2022 offseason, the Browns faithful had postseason aspirations.
However, after it was announced that he would need to miss 11 games, it was evident that the Browns will need to wait another season to hopefully see their dreams turn into a reality.
The Future Of The Browns
With Watson at the helm for the foreseeable future, the Browns should have an opportunity to contend for the division in 2023, as it has been dominated for over 20 years by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals.
With an offensive core of players like Nick Chubb, David Njoku, Amari Cooper, and Donovan Peoples-Jones, the Browns have a lot to look forward to.
Watson had a difficult time shaking off the rust in their Week 14 game, but that’s to be expected after missing all of the 2021 season, and the first half of this season.
Only time will tell if the Browns will be able to turn it around in 2023.
After Watson signed a massive five-year, 230 million fully-guaranteed contract, for the Browns’ sake, let’s hope they are able to do just that.
