During the 2022 MLB season, we saw several top rotations dominating hitters almost every day.
The World Series champion Houston Astros certainly had a great one, with stars Justin Verlander and Framber Valdez leading the way.
The New York Mets had Jacob deGrom, Max Scherzer, Taijuan Walker, Chris Bassitt, and Carlos Carrasco, while the Los Angeles Dodgers boasted Clayton Kershaw, Julio Urias, Tyler Anderson, Tony Gonsolin, and Dustin May, among others.
Even the New York Yankees, with Gerrit Cole, Nestor Cortes, and Luis Severino were in the mix, not to mention the Atlanta Braves with Max Fried, Spencer Strider, Charlie Morton, Kyle Wright, and more.
Free agency, however, has removed some of those names from those teams, at least for now.
The Brewers Rotation Is Deep And Talented
Do you know who has the strongest rotation for 2023 as things stand right now?
The Milwaukee Brewers.
“Top starting rotations right now: Brewers, Braves, Yankees, Marlins, Phillies, Rays. Top bullpens right now: White Sox, Mariners, Braves, Guardians, Twins, Dodgers (using projected 2023 WAR according to @fangraphs),” Codify Baseball tweeted.

Yes, the Brewers have a very solid group under contract.
Corbin Burnes has a Cy Young award and is nasty.
He leads the rotation, a unit that also includes Brandon Woodruff (3.05 ERA in 2022), Freddy Peralta, Eric Lauer, and Aaron Ashby.
There is some depth, too, because top prospect Ethan Small is waiting in the wings and Adrian Houser is a solid, if unspectacular backend option.
The Brewers can enter the season in 2023 without making an addition to their rotation and still look good.
They recently picked up Kolten Wong‘s club option to play second base and have big plans for 2023, so stay tuned.
