The Atlanta Braves entered the season as a team that was expected to be one of the best in the league.
They were aggressive in the offseason to improve their team and now they are reaping the benefits.
Atlanta has the best win percentage in baseball and is coming off a dominant June.
The Braves went 21-4 in June and smashed an incredible 61 home runs.
They are the only team in baseball with three hitters with at least 20 home runs on the season.
There is a reason they are atop the new MLB power rankings.
According to MLB, the Braves are first in the power rankings followed by the Tampa Bay Rays and Texas Rangers.

No team has done a better job of developing their players than the Braves.
They have an astounding eight All-Stars this year and five of them are homegrown players.
No team in the league can hit like the Braves.
Outside of the home runs, they get on base at a high rate and steal a ton of bases.
Most of their offense is fueled by NL MVP favorite Ronald Acuna Jr.
He has the potential to accomplish a 40-home run/70-steal season, which is unthinkable.
There seems to be no team that has the capability of slowing this Braves lineup down.
It will be interesting to see if their pitching can hold up over the full season.
For a team that has very few weaknesses, their pitching staff may be the only thing that holds them back.
