Ronald Acuna Jr. played through much pain during the 2022 season.
The 24-year-old was coming off of a torn ACL that knocked him out for the back half of the 2021 season and caused him to miss the Atlanta Braves‘ World Series run.
Acuna hit .266 with 15 home runs and 50 RBI.
He also stole 29 bases.
After the Braves season came to an end at the hands of the Philadelphia Phillies, speculation from several sources around the league that Acuna could potentially be traded began to circulate.
However, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports put any rumor of a potential Acuna trade to rest on Tuesday, reporting that the Braves were not considering moving him.

Braves Will Not Be Trading Acuna
It appears that for now, the Braves will be holding onto Acuna.
If they were to consider moving him, one would imagine that the asking price would be a hefty one.
The Braves would likely demand major league ready talent in return, and not just prospects.
But the Braves don’t appear to be entertaining any offers for him, which at this point, is likely a smart move.
Acuna will hopefully be back to full strength in 2023 as the Braves take another shot at winning a World Series.
Atlanta won 101 games and captured their fifth straight National League East crown before falling to the Phillies in the NLDS.
With Freddie Freeman gone, Acuna has become a centerpiece in the Braves lineup along with Austin Riley, Matt Olson, and Michael Harris II.
As of now, Acuna isn’t going anywhere, but baseball can always be unpredictable.
