When two teams score a bunch of runs in a baseball game, sometimes people will call it a “football game.”
That’s what we got last night in Philadelphia, when the Toronto Blue Jays put up 18 runs on the Philadelphia Phillies.
What’s interesting about it though is that the Phillies put up 11 on the Blue Jays.
It really was quite an offensive explosion by both sides.
After the game, the Blue Jays took to Twitter to roast a bunch of NFL teams, making a list of all the teams that they were able to outscore this week with their 18-run outburst last night.
NFL teams we outscored today:
🔹 Colts
🔹 Bengals
🔹 Patriots
🔹 Panthers
🔹 Steelers
🔹 Bears
🔹 Saints
🔹 Texans
🔹 Seahawks
🔹 Titans
🔹 Vikings

“Let’s Ride!”
You’ve got to admire the confidence exuded by the Blue Jays in this tweet.
They really were quite happy with themselves after last night’s outburst.
And why wouldn’t they be?
They just outscored a bunch of NFL teams in one game alone, which gave them a nice little opportunity to roast everybody they outscored.
It’s always nice to have a little fun on social media, but the Blue Jays earned that right last night.
They also capped off the tweet by saying “Let’s Ride” at the end of it.
That’s a hilarious way to finish off the tweet.
They certainly are “riding” high after last night’s game.
Not many times are you going to see a baseball team outscore a whole slew of football teams with just one offensive outburst.
The Blue Jays should enjoy this moment and take pride in the fact that they got a chance to roast even some of the best teams in the NFL.
They even outscored the New England Patriots and the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals.
Enjoy it, Blue Jays.
