All of the talk surrounding the Buffalo Bills this offseason was about their offense and more specifically quarterback Josh Allen.
We all saw why after the dominant performance he put on display against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Bills came out and scored on their first drive of the game and then had some hiccups after that.
But, in the fourth quarter, they lit up the Rams’ defense and were scoring at ease.
This was a dominant team win on Thursday night, as the Bills’ defense was incredible.
Facing a high-powered offense with Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, the Bills never looked off.
The new addition to the Buffalo defense, Von Miller, was great in his first game as a Bill.
The edge rusher recorded two sacks and showed he still has plenty of juice left in those 33-year-old legs.

Buffalo sacked Stafford seven times in total and forced him to make many uncomfortable throws.
The defensive front for Buffalo looked very stout against the run.
Holding the Rams to only 52 yards rushing and 2.8 yards per carry.
Also, the defense reeled in three interceptions from Stafford.
This was simply a dominant defensive showing facing the reigning world champs.
Allen Starts MVP Candidacy
As one of the favorites to win league MVP, Allen showed why he is so great on Thursday night.
Allen started the game by completing his first 10 passes.
For the game, he completed 26 of 31 for 297 yards and three touchdowns.

Plus, Allen might be the best rusher on the Bills’ team.
He ran the ball nine times for 57 yards and is so tough to tackle because of his size.
His only hiccups were two interceptions in which one hit the hands of his receiver and the other ball was off target.
Allen seemingly has no weakness and he has a chance to put together a monster season.
Each year the league MVP seems to have an “MVP moment”, Allen might have just had his in Week 1.
The Bills Looked Like The Best Team In The NFL
It is very rare to see the defending Super Bowl champions get embarrassed in their home opener.
But, that is exactly what the Bills did to the Rams.
Despite being tied at halftime, it seemed like the Bills dominated the whole game.
They played far from perfect on offense after committing four turnovers but still won with ease.
The best cornerback on the Bills, Tre’Davious White, was not even available for this game.
Getting him back at some point this season will add another key piece to what looks like one of the best defenses in the NFL.
The Bills have a tough schedule ahead after winning this first game.
They still have to face the Packers, Chiefs, Bengals, and Ravens.
All of which could cause them problems.
But, if this first game is a sign of things to come the Bills will finish with one of the best records in the NFL and probably the number one seed in the AFC.
