The Los Angeles Angels are coming off of a season in which they got off to a hot start, but quickly folded by the time June arrived, as a 14-game losing skid took them out of postseason contention.
Unfortunately, the Halos never recovered from it and finished in third place with just 73 wins.
However, they are hoping that after a busy offseason, they can bounce back into contention in 2023.
They provided their fans with some fireworks on Wednesday when Jared Walsh and Mickey Moniak hit back-to-back home runs against Colorado Rockies starter Jose Urena.
On Twitter, the Angels posted a highlight featuring the moment where Walsh and Moniak went back-to-back.

Both balls were hit pretty hard.
Walsh connected and stayed through the ball on his swing, sending it way out to right field.
Moniak’s home run was less of a sure thing, but he hit it out to straightaway center field and it cleared the wall for a home run to give the Halos a 2-0 lead.
Walsh was one of Los Angeles’ key contributors last season and assisted in the team’s hot start, earning the starting first base job.
The Angels made some key moves to add to the depth of their roster and ensure that the struggles of the 2022 season don’t rear their ugly heads again.
The additions of Brandon Drury, Gio Urshela, Hunter Renfroe, and Tyler Anderson give them a chance to compete with the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners in the American League West division.
