Everyone knew that if the Philadelphia 76ers didn’t have a stellar 2022-23 NBA season, then some big things would have to change.
Fans are prepared for several stars to leave and the coaching staff to be shaken up if the team doesn’t have a great push into the postseason.
But based on what we have seen lately, they might actually deliver on their promises.

The 76ers are 24-7 over their last 31 games and have the best record in the entire league over the last two months.
Philadelphia has been playing excellent basketball lately and has become a true force to be reckoned with.
They are currently the third-best team in the East with a strong 36-19 record.
Over the last few weeks, the 76ers have taken down teams like the Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, and others.
And in the middle of January, they went on a strong seven-game winning streak.
The team has been driven by the hard work of Joel Embiid (33.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4 assists), James Harden (21.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 10.8 assists), and Tyrese Maxey (19.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists).
But there are numerous players in Philly who are making success possible, including Shake Milton, Montrezl Harrell, Tobias Harris, and others.
They are certainly having one of their best regular seasons in years but fans are nervous about what can come in the postseason.
The team – and head coach Doc Rivers – doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to the playoffs, and there is a strong fear that the regular season success won’t convert into a lot of playoff wins.
That will definitely be a challenge that will need addressing.
But for now, the team is proving that it’s one of the best in the league.
