It is never too early to look forward to the following year’s draft, especially if one is an executive or a scout.
The NFL has set the date and location of the 2024 draft, and it will be held from April 25 to April 27 in Detroit.

This year’s draft could turn out to be a strong one, starting with quarterbacks Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud, who were taken with the top two picks.
Anthony Richardson, the No. 4 overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts, is another signal-caller who is thought to have tremendous potential, and running back Bijan Robinson, whom the Atlanta Falcons took at No. 7, seems to have superstar potential.
Many feel that next year, the top pick will likely be another potential-laden QB by the name of Caleb Williams.
He had a terrific sophomore season in 2022 for the University of Southern California, throwing for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns while having only five interceptions.
Those numbers earned him the Heisman Trophy, and he’s expected to be a frontrunner for the coveted award again this fall.
Another top prospect is wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State University, who is the son of Hall-of-Fame wideout Marvin Harrison.
The younger Harrison blossomed big time in 2022 with 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns, and at 6-foot-3, he’s a very nice target.
The Arizona Cardinals could have two very high picks in the 2024 draft, as they recently released star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and could be without quarterback Kyler Murray for a good chunk of the season as he recovers from a torn ACL.
In addition, they will have the Houston Texans’ first-round pick next year.
