The 2022 NFL Draft is a great mystery.
Football experts can’t even decipher how round one would unfold, given the various needs of every team and the shallow talent available in certain positions.
However, there is a consensus among mock drafts that the Jacksonville Jaguars will select a defensive end with the first overall selection.
It’s uncertain, though, if they would pick Aidan Hutchinson, Kayvon Thibodeaux, or Travon Walker.
But if DraftKings‘ betting odds were to come true, it seems that the former Georgia Bulldog will be the first player called in the 2022 draft.

PFF Bet shared that at -150, Walker has the best odds to become the top overall selection.
That number means a better must place a $150 wager to win $100.
Hutchinson is at second with +140, while Ikem Okwonu is at a distant third at +750.
Evan Neal is fourth at +1600, while Thibodeaux follows at fifth with +2000.
Liberty’s Malik Willis is the highest quarterback, rated at +4000.
Following him are Charles Cross (+5000), Ahmad Gardner (+5000), and Kenny Pickett (+6000).
Kyle Hamilton rounds up the top ten at +8000.
Given the unpredictability of this year’s draft, the person selected first overall might not be known until draft day.
Why Walker Became The Favorite?
His numbers from the Scouting Combine might have helped elevate his stock.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds even if he weighed 275 pounds.
That time is comparable to wide receivers and cornerbacks, and it’s not often seen on defensive linemen.
Walker also has a 35-inch vertical jump, making it easy to tip balls or leap over blockers to get a sack.
Jacksonville is thrilled with his upside and they might pick him over another great prospect in Hutchinson.
