In a game where many expected Ja’Marr Chase to be their biggest contributor on offense, the Cincinnati Bengals turned to another receiving weapon.
Even though the Bengals lost last night, Tee Higgins‘ performance received lots of praise from a former Bengals receiver.

In last night’s loss, Higgins had six receptions, which totaled 83 yards and a touchdown.
His six receptions included a catch that Chad Johnson himself needed to highlight.
Johnson is one of, if not the greatest pass-catcher in Bengals history.
The fact that he is calling out Higgins’ success is notable, given his former greatness for this organization.
Higgins will be entering his fourth NFL season in 2023 and is set to receive a contract extension this offseason.
Should the Bengals choose to sign him to another contract, the duo of Higgins and Chase could continue to be one of the greatest receiving combinations in the league.
Of course, Chase will likely be looking for a monster contract of his own, but that won’t take place for at least one more season.
The Bengals are set up for continued success, so long as they have Joe Burrow at the helm.
Of course, Burrow is slated to receive a contract extension of his own, considering that he will be entering his fourth NFL season.
Having weapons like Chase and Higgins certainly helps build Burrow’s case, as they have helped him achieve greatness in their time together.
Will the Bengals be able to afford all of these marquee offensive weapons?
Get ready for an expensive offseason, Bengals fans.
