There’s no reason to believe that the Tyreek Hill era with the Kansas City Chiefs would end soon.
After all, his presence helped the team reach two straight Super Bowls and four AFC Championship Games.
However, that might be the case as the Chiefs granted Hill permission to seek a trade after contract talks with the wide receiver stalled.
Another blockbuster coming? Despite an offer from the #Chiefs that would make superstar Tyreek Hill one of the highest-paid receivers, extension talks have stalled and Kansas City has now given Hill’s agent permission to seek a trade, sources tell me and @TomPelissero.

This development is huge and any team that will get him is in for a massive upgrade.
Hill has one year left on the three-year, $54 million extension he signed with Kansas City in 2019.
He will count $21.8 million against the Chiefs’ cap if no trade materializes.
Davante Adams‘ five-year, $141.25 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders may have caused the disparity in contract negotiations between Hill and the Chiefs.
The wide receiver might believe that he deserves money around Adams’ value while the Chiefs don’t see paying him that much, especially that they’ve already committed a lot to Patrick Mahomes.
But with Hill on the move, two teams are emerging to be frontrunners to acquire him, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
Jets and Dolphins are the two teams now vying for Tyreek Hill, who is expected to receive a massive contract extension from the team that trades for him, per sources. https://t.co/3R1OzqUEfV

Which Team Will Get Hill?
Hill will be better off joining the Dolphins because they are the more playoff-ready team.
They barely missed the postseason in 2021 despite starting at 1-7.
Getting him would give Tua Tagovailoa another deep threat aside from Jaylen Waddle.
Likewise, the Dolphins have $12.6 million in cap space which they can work around to acquire Hill.
But given Hill’s talent, other teams outside New York and Miami might pull off a miracle to get three-time First-Team All-Pro.
