There are many storylines to pay attention to with the Phoenix Suns next season.

The biggest relates to the Suns attempting to wipe away the stench from last season’s end while making the NBA Finals again.

But there are other storylines too, such as Chris Paul and his output as his career comes closer and closer to an end.

And there will be people watching the young core of the team to see how well they work together again.

That core consists of a few guys but perhaps the most important members are Devin Booker and the recently-re-signed Deandre Ayton.

With Ayton now officially back with the team, the Suns celebrated him with his buddy Booker, posting a picture of the duo on Twitter with a simple caption: “Locked-in.”

They better be if they hope to overcome an increasingly difficult Western Conference.

Suns Signings

Ayton re-signed with the Suns and he’s back for the next four years.

And Booker also just re-signed with the squad, meaning that these two will definitely be the future of the team.

Booker and Ayton have always played well together but they will need to take things up a notch because their competition definitely is.

They weren’t able to overtake the Dallas Mavericks last season and the Golden State Warriors at times felt as if they were in a league of their own.

Next season will see much stronger Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets too.

So things will be tougher than ever for the Suns, which means they will definitely need to be locked in and ready to take it all on.

Now that everyone is signed, paid, and happy again, the Suns can focus on the future ahead.
