Fans of the Phoenix Suns are still buzzing about the major trade that landed them Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets.
The acquisition of Durant was a game-changer and gives this already-promising team its best chance at rising through the West and making the NBA Finals yet again.
The only disappointing part of the trade for Durant is that he is currently injured with a knee problem and his timetable for return is unclear.
So, devoted Suns followers are waiting for their first game with Durant on the court.

But at least they see his recovery is headed in the right direction.
Durant was spotted taking practice shots in the Suns’ gym on Tuesday.
The footage wasn’t that exciting but to see Durant wear Phoenix’s colors and take shots made people very happy.
Now everyone just has to wait and see what Durant can do for the Suns.
He is not going to participate in the upcoming All-Star Game as he recovers from his injury but some people think that late February or early March has the best chance for his return.
As for the Suns, they have been looking better lately, even without Durant.
They have won four of their last five and will be playing against the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers this week.
They have been performing well but there is no doubt the team is in a weird place as they await Durant and all that he can bring to the franchise.
Make no mistake: whenever Durant is ready to play, all eyes will be on him, his new team, and what they can do together.
