Cleveland Guardians rookie sensation Steven Kwan is on an absolute tear just five games into his MLB career.
Kwan is hitting for an impressive .667 batting average and has an OPS of 1.683.
He has picked up at least one hit in every game he has been a part of this season.
He has also yet to strike out, or even swing and miss at a pitch for that matter.
But prior to his five-hit breakout performance on Sunday against the Kansas City Royals, Kwan revealed the secret to not striking out, saying that when he struck out as a kid, he would want to cry.
Kwan says he doesn’t like to cry, so in order to not cry, he made a point to not strike out.

The Secret Tool
Can anyone stop this man at the plate, or is he just impossible to strike out?
Kwan is off to an amazing and unprecedented start in his career.
But there lies the reason as to why Kwan is so good at baseball and never strikes out.
Apparently, the secret is not wanting to cry.
The theory checks out.
This guy can flat out hit and just won’t stop producing.
The Guardians may be a team that doesn’t look like a serious contender, but it appears that Kwan has other plans.
If he can stay hot, the Guardians, who lead the Majors in runs scored, could have a nice deadly duo in their lineup consisting of Kwan and slugger Jose Ramirez.
Eventually one day, Kwan will probably strike out, but there’s no telling when that day will be.
Even the equator isn’t as hot as he is right now.
