Cleveland Guardians‘ rookie sensation Steven Kwan has been off to a blazing hot start in 2022.
He found his way onto the Guardians’ Opening Day roster and hasn’t looked back ever since.
The 24-year-old rookie went on an impressive streak where he did not swing and miss or even strike out in the first few games of his career.
Though that streak is over, Kwan is still hitting .328 with 11 RBIs and a .907 OPS.
But last night, against the Toronto Blue Jays, Kwan did something else that was quite impressive, hitting a two-run homer off of Jays’ ace Jose Berrios for his first in the big leagues.
Steven Kwan, welcome to the homer club.

Kwan Goes Yard
Is there anything Kwan can’t do?
He may not be a major power hitter, but hey, there’s no time like the present to hit your first career home run.
And he did it off of one of the best pitchers in the game today, that being Berrios.
For the rest of his life, he’ll be able to say he hit his first big-league home run off of Berrios, a bona fide ace.
He hit it pretty good too, straight out to right field to tie the game at two for the Guardians.
The Guardians went on to win the game by a final of 6-5, but the story of the game was Kwan making a little bit of history with his first ever big-league home run.
This kid can flat out hit and now he is part of the home run club.
He joined that all exclusive club in style too.
Surely there’s more to come for this kid as he continues to rake.
